The Concerts of All Hallows has become the Academy at All Hallows. Building on five highly successful seasons as The Concerts of All Hallows, the Academy is an exciting new addition to Sacramento's classical music scene. With a mission of providing ensemble training for Sacramento's emerging professional musicians while bringing classical music to under-served venues, the Academy combines collegiate and post-collegiate performers with experienced professional mentors and top community performers to create truly extraordinary performances.

Academy School Concerts and Junior Scholar Program
Three times per season the Academy offers a pair of Friday morning concerts for school groups.
These concerts are approximately one hour long, are built on the repertoire for that weekend's concert, and are carefully crafted to be both educational and entertaining.
These concerts are offered on a "pay-as-able" basis. Some schools pay $5 per student, while the majority attend free-of-charge.
The concerts draw approximately 1000 children per set. Schools have attended from as far away as Colusa, Oroville and Grass Valley, but most often the concerts serve the parochial and public schools of South Sacramento, attempting to fill the devastating void that currently exists in availability of such programming.
The Academy is also working to provide instrumental instruction to the school children of Tahoe Park. This season, a pilot program has begun and some 20 children have been provided instruments (violins or cellos) and weekly instruction by a highly qualified instructor and Academy Orchestra member. Long-term goals include expanding this program, and offering similar programs, with financial support, to both public and private schools in the neighborhood and beyond.
